The Roman Catholic Church. The House of God.

Noted, it is traditional. But why must it be. For it houses the practice of the religion.? Do we equate religious deeds to be traditional, then.? Does addressing the call of the celestial designate outdatedness.? Why not reinterpret it. Why not modernize it. Sorry, contemporarize. Why not inward-looking focus of space; big "interior" space for gathering, big "exterior" space to be an ideal setting. Opportunities for involvement, we like.
Seatings to be equidistant. No front, no back. Height and position of altar to be considered. Neither physically or symbolically demeaning participation, cos you noe, ppl are easily intimidated. shy shy.
The symbolical crucifix form is trademark. Implement with light + shadow, the natural instrument of poetics, the effect is gung ho. Even nonbelievers will shun their prefix, with the stage set as such.

The large baptismal font, a contemporary outlook to the ancient act of devotion. The presence of stained glasses, a religious tool for education moreover with it's aesthetic properties. And the Stations of the Cross, to be situated around the common ground, complementing the purpose of the space with o holy celebrations and processions.
Check yes, yes, and yes. The church was, is, and will be super in architecture, for as long as man will be.
So what is there to argue.?
